ABOUT CMATE 2021 EXAM FOR MBA

 

Common Management Admission Test is a National Level Entrance Examination for admission to Management Programme(s) in the country. This Test facilitates AICTE affiliated participating Institutions to select suitable graduate candidates for admission to the Management Courses in such Institutions.


 

Till 2018, the Test was conducted by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). NTA is conducting this Test since 2019.

The CMAT-2021 will be conducted by the NTA. The CMAT is a three hours Computer Based Online Test which is conducted to evaluate the candidates ability across various segments like Quantitative Techniques, Logical Reasoning, Language Comprehension and General Awareness.

The CMAT score is accepted by all AICTE- Approved Institutions / University Departments / Constituent Colleges /Affiliated Colleges.

CMAT-2021 will be conducted by NTA as three hour entrance examination in Computer Based Test (CBT) mode to evaluate the candidates’ ability across various segments like Quantitative Technique, Logical Reasoning, Language Comprehension and General Awareness, for admission to the Management Courses in the Academic Session 2021-22. The participating Institutes of CMAT-2020 are the Institutions which will be accepting the CMAT Score.

The candidates aspiring for admission to MBA Course in the affiliated Colleges/Institutes of Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University (AKTU), Lucknow, which was earlier covered under UPSEE, are required to apply for the CMAT – 2021, since the Score Sheet of CMAT – 2021 shall be used for admission to the MBA Course in AKTU affiliated Colleges/Institutes in the Academic Year 2021-22.

Candidates must apply separately to the desired CMAT-2021 participating Institutions with the CMAT Score 2021. Thereafter, each participating Institution will release their respective cut off CMAT Scores which a candidate should meet to get qualified for admission to that particular Institution. Once qualified, the candidate will have to comply with the selection procedure of that particular Institution, which may comprise of Group Discussion (GD) and Personal Interview (PI). The final selection of the candidate will be based on the candidate’s performance in GD & PI.
